The Sjögren shotgun is a recoil-operated semi-automatic shotgun designed in Sweden in the early 1900’s. Only 5,000 were ever produced, in 1908 and 1909. This example is in reasonable condition considering its age and rarity and will no doubt please the discerning collector who will acquire it. There is a small amount of free play with the handguard. The take-down barrel also had a small amount of free play, now resolved by a shim. Our research showed very few online sources of information with most stating the chamber being 2 1/2 inches.
